TALKING CARS & SIPPING RUM: TONY 'MEXICAN' GUZZARDI

Finally I tracked down the guy who inspired this project. I mean who wouldn’t want to sit down with a cowboy and knock back some spicy liquor?⁣

Meet Tony ‘Mexican’ Guzzardi, owner of Tudor Automotive, hot rod enthusiast and straight up cool m#ther f*%ker. ⁣

Tony’s latest project is a 1947 Jailbar ‘Ratrod’ pickup Ford. Currently chopping 4.25 inches in height from the roof and channeling the body 6 inches over chassis. In layman’s terms; this farm-found car is quickly becoming a stylishly tight daily driver to-be. ⁣

With a handmade tub, Dodge 34 front grill and a 351 Cleveland Ford engine - I kind of wish I was one of his grandkids who he hopes to pass it onto one day.⁣

Tudor Automotive has been open since July 1988 (they even wrote it in the concrete). Specialising in hot rod modifications and getting custom cars ready for registration. Tony is there to do whatever it takes to live out your ‘American Graffiti’ dream. Heck, he might even throw in a poster of one of his previous builds.⁣

Have a classic car and want to drink some rum? Drop me a line.⁣
